2019质谱流式技术全国巡讲邀请函

近几年来单细胞水平研究技术越来越火,而流式技术就是其中之一。它能反应出复杂细胞群体的异质性。随着流式细胞仪的不断升级,也在改变着研究人员的分析思维,从简单的一两色分析逐步到十色以上。但对于研究不够透彻的细胞群及关系网来说,十几色研究依旧很有局限性。质谱流式技术应运而生,目前可以实现在单细胞水平同时检测多达四十几个标志物,而金属同位素的引入,克服了传统流式由于串色带来的一系列负面影响。

我们邀请了厦门大学生命科学学院的付国教授分享他在质谱流式技术方面的研究成果和感受。厦门大学拥有中国首台质谱流式仪器。付国教授是国内最早接触质谱流式技术的专家之一,拥有丰富的经验,专注研究免疫及肿瘤微环境,在N、Nature Immunology顶级期刊发表多篇文章。

付国教授简介

Guo Fu obtained his PhD from the Dept. of Microbiology and Immunology, the University of Melbourne, Australia (2004).  From 2004 to 2010, he did postdoctoral training at the Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, CA, USA. From 2010 to 2014, he was a staff scientist at the Scripps Research Institute. In 2014, he joined the faculty of School of Life Sciences in Xiamen University, Fujian, CHINA.  Most of his work has focused on T cell biology in the settings of health and disease conditions. He studies the cellular and molecular mechanisms of T cell development, activation, and differentiation in mouse infection, autoimmune, and tumor models. In close collaboration with researchers from industry and doctors from hospital, he also studies the mechanisms of leukemia occurrence and immunotherapy. 

Dr. Fu was one of pioneers in CHINA to utilize Mass Cytometry (CyTOF) to study immunology and tumor microenvironment. He is devoted to develop new reagents and protocols in both Mass Cytometry as well as conventional flow cytometry for more precise and rapid analysis of precious samples and rare cell populations.
